In honor of spring and this lovely holiday weekend, I have made you a special treat dear readers.
They are almost too cute, I know. It’s ok, you can judge me.
Aren’t these easy, no-bake butterscotch bird’s nest adorable? All you need is a bag of butterscotch chips, a quarter cup peanut butter, and two and a half cups crunchy chow mein noodles. Melt the butterscotch chips and peanut butter in a double boiler, mix in the chow mein noodles. Drop by the tablespoon on waxed paper and let cool. If you stop here you have cute haystacks, if you want to make them into nests, carefully mold the mixture in rounds with a small indent in the middle. Place Easter egg shaped chocolates in the center when the butterscotch is still sticky (to make them stay) and viola!
